About the Prints.

Please note that the images presented here do not reflect the fine quality of the finished prints.

The finished prints are produced on a PH neutral 315gsm heavyweight art paper using pigment inks.

Did you know? The word Giclée is mentioned quite frequently these days with regards to the print-making sector of the art world. Did you know that this word (pronounced "zheeclay") comes from the French verb giclér, which means to squirt and relates to the "fine spray" made by the ink jet printer which produces the print.

The beauty of the Giclée print, as opposed to traditional reprographically reproduced images, is that one is able to print only as many copies as are required; rather than having a full run of say, 100 prints made. This means that Giclée prints are a relatively cheap print alternative when compared to prints produced on a printing press using the four colour process.

Prints are window-mounted ready for framing and packaged together with a protective backing board inside a sealed cellophane wrapper.

The package also includes a certificate of authenticity.
