About the Prints.

Please note that the images presented here do not reflect the fine quality of the finished prints.

The finished prints are produced on a PH neutral 315gsm heavyweight art paper using pigment inks.

Did you know? The word giclée is often used in the print-making sector of the art world and that this word (pronounced "zheeclay") comes from the French verb giclér, meaning to squirt. It relates to the "fine spray" made by the printer used to produce the print.

How is the work produced?
As you can see from the images on this site, John's painting & drawing style verges on the photo-realistic and many hours of painstaking and meticulous work (often using very fine brushes) go into every one of his pieces of work. His chosen mediums for most work is the water-based paint, gouache and also pencil.
